Principal's Message

WELCOME BACK!!!!!
It seems like we never left.  The students have gotten right back into routine and even the little JK’s are learning about lining up and listening for bells.
We have many new families to our school and our classes are really full.  It is great to see.  We also would like to welcome our new Core French teacher, Ms. Goodspeed, who returned to Ontario from Newfoundland this summer to teach at Alexandra.
Please plan on attending the Meet the Teacher BBQ on Wednesday, September 14 from 4:30-6:30.  We will be selling hotdogs and hamburgers for a nominal amount.  The School Council has booked Elephant Thoughts- Body Orbs for the evening also.  They are running the program from 5:00-7:00.  Please come out and welcome our new families, have some fun in the gym and meet the staff: old and new.
We have many events and activities planned for this year including the 7/8 school trip and electives.  There will be a fee associated with some of the elective activities and many fundraising activities for the trips.
Let’s have a great year Eagles!!
