Principal's Message

I cannot believe that it is November already!!!  Please plan on joining us for our Remembrance Day Service on November 13 in the gym.  Please feel free to invite community members to join as well.  Ms. Thompson and the students always present a beautiful and respectful service for us.
We are selling Christmas wreaths this fall also as a fundraiser for the school.  These are absolutely beautiful and are a great Christmas decoration for any home.  They are locally made and fresh.  They last for months.
Don’t forget to encourage all your neighbours and extended family members to bring their discarded clothing to Alexandra on November 18th after the Santa Claus parade.  There is cold, hard cash in those clothes.
Please plan on attending the Parent-Teacher interviews on Thursday, November23 in the evening and in the morning of Friday, November 24th.This is a great way to find out what your child is doing in school and how they are doing.  Open communication between the home and school is a very important component of student success at school.
Let’s hope the time change does not mess up our sleep patterns too much!

We are very excited to announce that we will be offering parents the convenience of paying online for school activities, field trips and sports events, in the near future.

For safety and efficiency reasons, we want to reduce the amount of cash and cheques coming into our school. School related expenses will be available online for you to make payments during the school year soon.

You can register for your online payment account now. Click on the image below to get started. Click here to register or login.
